Overview
The New Court Rules Series (NCRS) breaks down the study of the new Civil Rules into six modules. Each module is 3.5 hours long. All modules total 21.0 course hours. To assist you in getting ready, each module has a pre-course and post-course component that we would like you to complete. Please set aside a minimum of 2.0 hours for each pre and post-course work. Your preparation will allow you to focus on the substantive portion of the discussions and will allow you to engage your colleagues in a more fulfilling and effective manner.
Subject to the course
prerequisites*
or the instructor's approval, participants may choose to register for the entire event or by module.
Series registrants get preferred seating to the sessions. Each class is limited to 18 seats.
For firms sending teams,
we encourage your staff to collaborate closely but ask that they prepare their pre and post-course submissions individually.
Each module will be presented in a half-day format, including the Forms applicable to each part of the Rules as they fall under a particular module. Each module will include a review of the Forms associated with the included Parts. This would leave Rules 10, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21 uncovered in this course material.
